Frequently asked questions

Artwork & files

What format can I upload my artwork in?

We recommend uploading all artwork in PDF format for best results. JPEG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, and EPS are also accepted.

I uploaded my artwork, but haven't received a proof yet?

Proofs typically arrive within 5-10 minutes. If it's been more than 20 minutes, check your spam folder, verify your file format, or email info@thesignpad.com with your order number.

My artwork failed Pre-Flight and is on hold. What do I do?

Common issues: incorrect sizing, files approaching 1 GB, or "Resolution Too Low" - by far the most common. Follow the instructions in the email and re-submit corrected artwork.

Why are there green lines around the edge of the online designer?

The green dashed line will not print. It marks the safe zone for text and grommet placement.

I accidentally approved my artwork. Is it too late to change it?

Call or email us immediately - there may be time to cancel before printing begins, depending on the production queue.

Do you run colour samples?

Yes. Samples are available with an approximate $20 minimum charge. We meet G7 colour-profile standards.
