Printed Sides

Choose between single sided or double sided signs.
NOTE: When submitting signage with 2 sides, you’ll need to submit a 2 page PDF for your artwork. Page 1 being the front side and page 2 being the backside.

Holes

Drill holes are 1/4” in Diameter. We offer 2 standard placement options for Drill Holes: No Holes, Top corners and all 4 corners. In all options you’ll receive final confirmation proofs that show you the exact placement of where these 1/4” drill holes will go so you can ensure they won’t impact or be placed over critical text.

No Holes - No Holes are placed, this is the standard / default option.

Top Corners - Holes will be drilled in top left and right corners.

All 4 Corners - Holes will be drilled in all for corners.

Grain Direction

Brushed ACP has a directional grain pattern in the aluminum face. Choose how you want the grain to run on your finished sign:

Horizontal - Brushed lines run left-to-right across the sign. Most common for wide, landscape-oriented signs.

Vertical - Brushed lines run top-to-bottom. Common for tall, portrait-oriented signs and monument-style signage.

Corners

By default your signage will be square cut with square corners. You can select a rounded corner which will provide a ½” radius cut on all 4 corners. This will also show in your proof as well. No need to round the corners in your artwork, this will be done automatically by our software.

Mounting

By default all signs do not come with mounting tape or any hanging hardware. If you would like mounting tape added to the back of your sign, please choose from the following options:

No Mounting Tape - No tape added.

D/S Foam Tape - Double-sided foam tape strips added to the back. Suitable for interior mounting on smooth surfaces. Foam tape is approximately 1/16" thick and provides a slight standoff from the wall.

D/S VHB Tape - 3M VHB (Very High Bond) double-sided tape strips added to the back. Suitable for exterior or interior mounting on smooth surfaces. VHB tape is extremely strong and weather-resistant.

Example Artwork Requirements

This product requires .25” of bleed on all 4 sides. If submitting a double sided sign you will need to submit a 2 page PDF. See details below:

When uploading your artwork for alupanel signs we require a 0.25” of bleed on all sides. For example if you are submitting artwork for a sign with a finished size of 24” x 24” you’ll need to submit your artwork at 24.5”x 24.5”. If your sign is a double sided sign you’ll want to submit a 2 page PDF, with page 1 being the front side and page 2 being the backside. Both pages of your PDF require the same amount of bleed. For example if you are submitting artwork for a sign that is double sided and 12” x 12”, you would submit a PDF file that is 2 pages, with both being 12.5” x 12.5”
