Choosing the Right Flag Style

Each flag shape has its own look and feel — pick based on the shape you want, the space you have, and how much wind the location gets:

• Flag — Feather Style — Tall, slim, and gently curved at the top. The most common choice for storefronts and open houses because it stays visible even in low wind. Available in 7ft, 11ft, and 16ft heights.
• Flag — Teardrop Style — A rounder, teardrop-shaped silhouette that holds its shape even without wind. Great when you want the flag to look intentional and readable whether or not it’s breezy. Same 7ft, 11ft, and 16ft sizing as feather flags.
• Rectangular Display Flags — A traditional tall-rectangle shape with more usable print area than feather or teardrop flags. Good for campaigns that need larger logos or more copy on the flag itself.

Bases and Hardware

Each flag can be ordered with the base that suits its location:

• Cross Brace — Versatile indoor / outdoor base. Our most common choice.
• Spike Base — Hammered into grass or soil — best for outdoor events and field use.
• Cross Brace with Waterbag — Adds weight to the standard cross brace for mild-to-medium wind conditions.
• Water Tank Base — Heaviest option, designed for higher-wind flat locations.

Each flag ships in a carry bag with pole sections and fabric, so setup takes about a minute once you’re on site.

A Note on Outdoor Life and Bylaws

Dye-sublimation prints hold up well outdoors, but extended direct UV and high-wind areas will eventually fade the print and fray the fabric edges. For long-term installations we suggest taking flags down in the worst wind and washing them occasionally (cold, delicate). Some Greater Victoria municipalities restrict display flags on boulevards and storefronts — worth a quick check with your municipality before committing to a long-term install.
