SEG style backdrops are a new and modern way of setting up and displaying backdrops. SEG or Silicone Edge Graphic, allows for a printed fabric to have a silicone edge sewn into the edges. This silicone edge tucks nicely into the frame which provides a perfectly tensioned backdrop. This allows you to avoid some of the wrinkles or tension lines that can be common or hard to avoid with velcro based backdrops.
Setting up the SEG frame requires expanding the accordion style plastic and aluminum frame. The outside plastic / aluminum trim pieces are pushed into place to create the outside box which the silicone edge pops into.
Cleaning is a breeze! This can be machined washed on a cold, delicate cycle using a mild detergent. DO NOT dry clean or tumble dry after washing. We recommend air / hang drying after washing. We recommend storing in a dry and warm place. Do not store this fabric in a damp or wet place as mold can grow.
Wrinkles in the material can removed with a warm iron or fabric steamer.
